Health Insurance for Small Business Owners

You need coverage for yourself, maybe your family, and maybe a team, and every option seems to come with paperwork, participation rules and costs that are hard to compare.

How I help

What working with me looks like

01

Owner-first coverage

We start with the right plan for you and your family, then look at your team.

02

Group vs. individual

For very small teams, individual coverage plus a reimbursement arrangement can beat a traditional group plan.

03

Voluntary benefits

Dental, vision, life and accident coverage that employees value, often at little or no cost to you.

04

Enrollment handled

I walk you and your employees through setup, enrollment and the questions that come after.

Questions I hear a lot

FAQ

Is a group plan always cheaper than individual plans?
No. For one- to five-person businesses, individual plans are sometimes more affordable and more flexible. It depends on ages, health, location and subsidy eligibility.
Can I cover just myself through my business?
If you have no employees, you'll generally buy an individual plan. Premiums may be deductible as a self-employed health insurance deduction.
